How Much Does a Rigid Hyperbaric Chamber Cost in 2026?

1. The chamber itself

A clinical-grade rigid 1.5 ATA cabin with touchscreen, built-in AC and nickel-steel shell. We deliberately do not list a public price: configuration (concentrator bundle, OEM branding, spare kit) and destination change the number. Tell us your country and quantity and we will send a proforma within 24 hours.

2. International shipping

The cabin is about 350 kg on a fumigated pallet. Sea freight LCL is standard for a single unit; FCL is cheaper per unit for 3+. Air freight is not realistic for a chamber this size. Plan 25–40 days by sea to most major ports.

3. Duty & VAT: 0% – 20% of CIF

HBOT chambers sit under HS 9019.20 (mechano-therapy / oxygen therapy appliances). Duty is 0–5% in the US and EU for CE-marked devices, 0% in many ASEAN markets under ACFTA, and 10–20% in parts of Latin America and Africa. Add 10–20% VAT on top. Ask your customs broker for the exact rate before ordering.

4. Oxygen concentrator

The chamber is an air-pressurized cabin; the medical oxygen comes from a separate concentrator (5–10 LPM, 90–96% O2). You can buy one locally or bundle it with the chamber. Budget for it — it is not included in the cabin price.

The OZ-150 route — single rigid chamber, LCL sea freight, local duty/VAT in your country, bundled concentrator, spare kit — lands at a fraction of a hospital-class multiplace chamber room, which typically requires a dedicated room and a multi-year capital budget. The single-person rigid route is how a small clinic adds HBOT without a capital committee. We will send a line-item proforma once you tell us your country and configuration.

At typical session pricing and 40% utilization, the chamber pays for itself inside the first year. That is why the price of the chamber is rarely the real decision — utilization is.
